Jimmy Ashworth

Jimmy Oneal Ashworth, 83, died Feb. 17, 2020 at his home in Greenwood.

Funeral services were Thursday at Belzoni City Cemetery with Rev. Glenn Allen officiating. Burial followed under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.

Sherry Virginia Wasson Lewis, 68, passed away peacefully at her residence in Benton on February 18, 2020 after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Lewis was born April 12, 1951 in Alabama to Harry and Claudine Campbell Wasson.

Claudine S. White, 91, of Yazoo City passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at The Martha Coker Green House Homes.

Mrs. White was born May 5, 1928 in Sharkey County to James Clark Seale and Mary Ethel Sibley Seale. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.










John L. Paytas

John L. Paytas, 95, passed away at home on February 14, 2020, surrounded by his family.  He was born in Pennsylvania on June 21, 1924 to Stephen and Karoline Paytas.
