Supervisors donate top dressing for Yazoo softball fields

The Yazoo County Board of Supervisors recently donated three truckloads of top dressing dirt to the Parks and Recreation Commission to be used on the softball fields at the Wardell Leach Recreation Complex. The dirt, valued at $4,000, is made of the same material that covers the baseball fields, which will help it to better absorb and drain moisture and prevent postponed games.
