Mr. and Mrs. Robert Eddins Coker Jr., of Yazoo City, announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Mollie Montgomery Coker, to Philip Andrew Russell, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Russell, of Flowood, Ms.
Miss Coker is the granddaughter of Dr. Charlie Walter Cooper and the late Mrs. Arie Jacobs Cooper, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Eddins Coker and the late Mrs. Mary Robinson Coker.
She is a graduate of The Veritas School in Ridgeland. She received her Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of Mississippi, and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching from Belhaven University.
She is employed as an Assistant Teacher of the primary classroom at the Montessori Academy of Jackson.
The bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Duffie Russell of Forest, Ms and Mr. Lamar Leggett and the late Mrs. Barbara Leggett of Greenville, Ms.
He is a graduate of Northwest Rankin High School in Flowood. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication at Mississippi State University.
He is employed as a Children’s Miracle Network Specialist for Children’s of Mississippi at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
The couple were married March 28th, 2020 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of First Presbyterian Church of Jackson where they are members, in the presence of their parents with the Reverend Cory Brock officiating.
A small reception with the couples’ parents was held afterward at the newlyweds home in Jackson, Ms.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Russell look forward to celebrating their marriage with friends and family at a reception in the Spring of 2021.
