Technical Editor, Demarcus McGee! Demarcus is a Yazoo City, Mississippi native and has spent the last six years in Jackson.
He attended Millsaps College where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy. He is the proud father of his one-year-old son, Greyson McGee.
Demarcus will be spending his summer as a clerk for Balch & Bingham in Jackson.
In addition, Demarcus has also clerked for attorney J. Peyton Randolph in Ridgeland, Mississippi. He has also served as an extern for the Mississippi Court of Appeals under the Honorable Judge David McCarty and for the Mississippi Supreme Court under the Honorable Justice James Kitchens.
Outside of Law Review, Demarcus is a member of Phi Delta Phi and the Black Law Student Association where he served as Co-Academic Success Committee Chair. He is a Teaching Assistant for Civil Procedure I and II and a 2019 Hearin Scholar.
