Yazoo lost one of our finest citizens with the death of Mrs. Beatrice Kaiser.
She was a woman who knew what is important in life. She demonstrated those priorities through actions rather than words.
Those priorities were faith, family, and taking pride in your work.
Faith is the first thing than comes to mind when thinking about Mrs. Beatrice Kaiser. She and her family received much praise for the gospel music the Kaiser Singers made over the years, but she always made it clear that she wanted God to receive all of the glory.
She did a radio broadcast for years to bring Sunday School to the sick and elderly people who couldn’t make it to church. Some Yazooans called her the “radio angel.”
She drove a school bus for many years, and we wonder if she even realized how many lives she touched during her career. Mrs. Kaiser may have been best known for her musical talent, but we’ve heard just as many comments from Yazooans who recalled how she treated them like family and made them feel special while getting them to school and back home safely.
We’re going to miss Mrs. Beatrice Kaiser, but we hope you’ll join us in making a commitment to honoring her memory by striving to live by the same principles that made her such a wonderful person. We have faith that if we try to follow her example only good things will follow.
