Miss Sarah Grafton PeasterMr. and Mrs. James R. Peaster IV of Yazoo City are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Grafton Peaster, to David Thomas Irving, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Donald Irving of Jackson. The bride elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James R. Peaster III, Mr. Frank Soldevila and the late Mrs. JoAnn Soldevila. Miss Peaster is a 2007 graduate of Manchester Academy, a 2011 graduate of Belhaven University and is expected to graduate from Louisiana State University this year with an M.A. in Art History. She currently has her B.A. in Visual Art. While at Belhaven University, she was a member of Magna Cum Laude. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Warren Harvie, and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Louis Irving. Mr. Irving is a 2007 graduate of Memorial High School, a 2011 graduate of Dartmouth College and is expected to graduate from Reformed Theological Seminary in 2015. He currently has a B.A. in History. While at Dartmouth he was Track and Field Captain. Mr. Irving is currently a Pastoral Intern at the Raymond Presbyterian Church. The couple will exchange vows on June 1, 2013 at the Chapel at the Emmaus Retreat Center in Satartia. Rev. David Gilbert will officiate the double ring ceremony. A reception will follow at Yazoo City Country Club.

Jayla is the granddaughter of Mrs. Myra Peyton and the late Judge A.J. Peyton and the late Exsell Snow and the late Regina Snow. Zay’Den weighed six pounds, and measured ten inches long. Maternal grandparents are Taneka Robinson and Johnny Tate. Paternal grandparent is Angel Cole.

The bride elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Watson of Yazoo City, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Truett Duncan Sr. Miss Duncan is a 2005 graduate of Manchester Academy, as well as a Mississippi Delta Community College graduate, where she earned her A.A.S. in Dental Hygiene. She is currently a Dental Hygienist at Family Dentistry in Yazoo City. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mrs. Beverly King of Yazoo City, the late Mr. A.S. King, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ray Burnham. Mr. Burnham is a 2006 graduate of Indianola Academy, as well as a Mississippi Delta Community College graduate, where he earned his A.A.S. in Industrial Electricity. He was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society while at MDCC. He is currently employed in Maintenance at CF Industries in Yazoo City. The couple will exchange vows on May 18, 2013 at First United Methodist Church. Rev. Bill Poole and Rev. Pamela Cameron will officiate the double-ring ceremony. A reception will follow at Yazoo Country Club, where all friends and relatives of the couple are welcome to attend.
