Miss Hogue to wed Langford

Miss Angelia Hogue and Mark LangfordMiss Angelia Hogue and Mark LangfordJohn and Helen Hogue of Yazoo City are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Angelia Leigh Hogue, to Christopher Mark Langford, son of Randy and Rhonda Langford of Lexington.
The bride elect is the granddaughter of Rowena Drinkwater and the late Fred Drinkwater of Clinton. She is also the granddaughter of Earline Hogue and the late Alfred Hogue of Yazoo City.
Miss Hogue attended Benton Academy. She is currently attending the Mississippi University for Women, where she is pursuing a Degree of Nursing.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of William and Madelyn Spell, along with Al and Willie Mae Langford, both of Lexington.
Mr. Langford attended Benton Academy and Mississippi State University, where he earned a Degree in Industrial Technology. He is currently a Supervisor at Anel Corporation in Winona.
The couple will exchange wedding vows on May 25, 2013 at Midway United Methodist Church at 5:30 p.m.  Rev. Will Wilkerson will officiate their double- ring ceremony.  
A reception will follow at Benton Country Club, where all friends and relatives are welcome to attend.

 

Christopher Benjamin Chaney debuts

Mr. and Mrs. Brent Chaney are proud to announce the birth of their son, Christopher Benjamin Chaney, on February 4, 2013 at River Oaks Baby Suites in Flowood.  
Christopher weighed seven pounds, two ounces.
Mrs. Chaney is the former Carrie Reeves of Holly Bluff.  
Maternal grandparents are Henry and Ann Reeves of Holly Bluff.  
Paternal grandparents are John and Sherry Chaney of Delta City.
Also welcoming the arrival of Christopher is his big sister, Sherrill Ann Chaney.


 

Girl Scouts celebrate Founder Day

Girl Scout Troop #5488 celebrated Girl Scout Founder Day by going camping at Camp Swayze during Spring Break. Miss Niven to wed Coleman on April 20

Miss Lyndsey Niven and Robert ColemanMiss Lyndsey Niven and Robert ColemanMr. and Mrs. Jackie Niven of Flora announce the engagement and forthcoming of marriage of their daughter, Lyndsey Morgan Niven, to Robert Parrish Coleman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Coleman of Bentonia and Ms. Julie Coleman of Benton.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Gwynne Creel of Bentonia and the late Mrs. Katherine Niven of Benton.
Miss Niven is a 2009 graduate from Tri-County Academy and will be graduating with a     Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Nursing in May 2013.
The prospective bride-groom is the grandson of Mr. Bob Coleman Sr. of Yazoo City.
He is a 2003 graduate from Benton Academy and attended Mississippi College.
The couple will be married on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 5 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Flora.
Rev. Cliff Pace of Hernando Baptist Church will officiate the double ring ceremony.
A reception will follow at Bellevue Clubhouse at Lake Caroline.
Family and friends are welcome.

 

Moore turns 1

MooreMooreTeranija Moore, daughter of Nina Demus and Terry Moore, celebrated her first birthday on March 16, 2013.  
She celebrated her birthday with a Princess-themed party with a host of family and friends.
