Hudson attends youth leadership conference

Wayne Hudson Jr., son of Wayne and Minnie Hudson of Yazoo City, recently attended the National Young Leaders Conference in Washington D.C. on June 24-July 2. During his visit, he was able to sit on the floor of the Senate and visit with lawmakers. He visited the White House and other historical sites surrounding Washington D.C. Through the conference, he was able to participate in a variety of educational and leadership workshops and exercises. He was also invited to attend the Inaugural Ball, which will be held in January. Hudson is pictured with Sen. Roger Wicker. Lintonia Garden Club makes plans for new year

Lintonia Garden Club members met at the home of Mrs. Phillip Dixon on June 18 to plan meetings for the upcoming year. A delicious lunch was served by the hostesses, Dianne Collins and Louise Dixon.  A tour of Mrs. Dixon’s flower garden concluded the meeting. Pictured from left are Collins and Dixon. Cliftons welcome Ashtyn Tranell

CliftonCliftonTilmon and Rayna Clifton, both of Yazoo City, are excited to announce the arrival of their daughter Ashtyn Tranell Clifton.
Ashtyn made her debut into the world on July 5, 2012.
Ashtyn weighed four pounds, 13 ounces and measured 17 and a half inches long.
Also celebrating her arrival are her grandparents Herman Randle of Kansas City, Kan., David and Sandra Washington of Yazoo City, and Lillie Clifton, of Mound Bayou.

 

Ashlyn Cox debuts

Shaddrick and Jennifer Cox are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Ashlyn J’Mya Cox, on July 17, 2012 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.  
Ashlyn weighed seven pounds, six ounces and measured 20 inches long.  
Maternal grandparents are Walter and Cynthia Gainwell.  
Paternal grandparents are Fletcher and Jimmie Hankins.  
Also welcoming the new arrival is big brother Shaddrick ‘TJai’ Cox Jr.

 

Kylee and Baylor Creel celebrate birthdays

Kylee celebrated her ninth birthday on July 9, 2012. She celebrated her birthday with a party with family and friends.
Baylor also celebrated his third birthday with a horse themed party with family and friends on June 9, 2012.
Kylee and Baylor are the children of Jace and Leslie Creel of Yazoo City.
Proud grandparents are Gerald and Tina Creel of Yazoo City and Carrell and Pat Perry of Flora.
