League to serve local youth

Special to The Herald

Church Basketball League will serve as a tool to redirect and refocus local youth and young adults. It will charge them to focus on school and their transition into adulthood by always putting Christ first in their life.
This league is challenging the youth to stay positive by requiring them to have good behavioral reports and by maintaining a C average or above in school. They are also encouraged to attend a church in their community.
Please help seal the faith of local youth and young adults by inspiring them to participate in positive activities.
Registration ends December 15. There are children who would like to participate but just don’t have the money to do so. Sponsoring a team is another way to  support the community.
For more information, call Sharon Moncure at 601-576-7546 or 601-879-9988.
