James Patterson turns 5

PattersonPattersonJames Jackson Patterson, son of Jason and Jamie Patterson of Yazoo County, celebrated his fifth birthday on December 18, 2012.
He celebrated his birthday with his first trip to Walt Disney World.
James’ grandparents are Rhonda Kemp of Vicksburg, Belinda Patterson Manor of Yazoo County and the late Biven “Buddy” Patterson.
He is the great grandson of Walter Richardson and the late Sue Richardson of Yazoo County and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Jackson.

 

Allison Reese Pierce debuts

Emily and William Pierce Jr. of Vaughan are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Allison Reese Pierce, on December 9, 2012 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.  
Allison weighed seven pounds, six ounces and measured 20 inches long.  
Maternal grandparents are Fred and Martha Street.  
Paternal grandparents are Chris and Beverly Pierce.
Also welcoming the new arrival are big sister Caroline and big brother W.C.

Not pictured is Elizabeth Sigrest Remington.The Yazoo Chapter NSDAR Christmas luncheon was held in the country home of Dr. and Mrs. Marion Sigrest on Dec. 13.
The gathering began at 11:30 a.m. with a warm welcome to Janet Looney Whittington’s mother, Willie Looney of Jackson. When all of the members arrived, there were a few announcements about the Jan. 16 Chapter Meeting and the Jan. 27 celebration of the Yazoo Chapter’s 60th anniversary.
Gloria Adcock, Montine Bond, Wendy Cartwright, Ava Hale, Priscilla Harper, Sue Patterson, Sarastelle Sigrest, Delaine Stoner and Marsha Williams were selected as delegates to the MSSDAR State Conference. By virtue of their offices, Chapter Regent JoAnne Collins and MSSDAR State Regent Janet Whittington will also represent the local chapter at the conference.
Hostesses for the luncheon were Sarastelle Sigrest, Cynthia McGraw, Elizabeth Remington and Beja Everett.

 

Jamyra Snow turns eleven

Jamyra SnowJamyra SnowJamyra Shuntae Snow celebrated her 11th birthday on Dec. 17 with a surprise party at her school.
Jamyra is the daughter of Aldena Peyton Snow and Eric Snow.  She is the granddaughter of Myra Peyton and the late Judge A.J. Peyton of Yazoo City and the late Regina Snow and the late Exsell Snow of Utica.
Also helping her celebrate were her siblings, Jaslyn, Jayla and Eric Jr. and a special friend, DeOnia Carter.

 

Powell turns eight Dec. 28
