Yazoo City High School teammates LaDarius Drain and Derrick Little have played together since their eighth grade season at Woolfolk Middle School. As their senior year winds to an end, the pair decided that they wanted to continue to share the court together.
On Tuesday, the pair decided to continue their careers together, signing National Letters of Intent to play basketball next season at Hinds Community College.
“It’s a beautiful feeling,” said Drain when asked about continuing his career with Little. “Especially when it’s a teammate like Derrick, a great player who has been playing with me since day one in eighth grade. I’m very fortunate to continue my basketball career alongside him.”
Said Little, “Playing with Drain, we’re going to be a force to be reckoned with because we know each other and have that bond. It feels good to know that I can go to school and represent my parents and Yazoo City High School.”
