Former Manchester Academy instructor Richard Darden spent Thursday night in the Yazoo County Jail after showing up two hours late for a scheduled initial appearance.
Darden, who is charged with three counts of exploitation of children and three counts of voyeurism, was scheduled to turn himself in to Sheriff Thomas Vaughan at 3 p.m. Thursday, but did not arrive until around 5 p.m. Darden was originally scheduled to make his initial appearance before Justice Court Judge Pam May, but the court closed down for the day at 5 p.m.
