Yazoo County boys basketball coach Michael Tardy has led the Panthers to six playoff appearances in seven seasons.DeAndre Scott scored a game-high 22 points as the Yazoo County Panthers advanced to the second round of the 4A North State championships Tuesday after a 58-47 win over Houston at the Swamp.
The Panthers have won three of their last four games in the postseason; their only loss came in the district title game.
