JACKSON – Yazoo City’s last run at a state title on the hardwood ended Tuesday night after the Indians were eliminated from the playoffs following a 28-20 loss to Provine in the first round of the Class 5A North State tournament.
The Indians (15-13) had their backs against the wall versus the heavily favored Rams who had just one blemish on their record in 2010.
