Mr. and Mrs. John David Stahl of Kosciusko announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Phylis Kaye, to Mr. John Joseph Odum of Midway, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Pitman “Rusty” Odum of Midway.
Maternal grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. S.D. The bride’s paternal grandparents are Mrs. Ben David Stahl and the late Mr. Ben Stahl of Trenton, Ky.
Grandparents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Love Nolan of Yazoo City and the late Mr. and Mrs. John William Odum of Midway.
Miss Stahl is a graduate of Kosciusko High School. She attended Holmes Community College and the University of Southern Mississippi. She is employed as a legal assistant at Forman Perry Watkins Krutz & Tardy, LLP in Jackson.
Mr. Odum is a graduate of Benton Academy and Mississippi State University. He is currently employed at Yazoo County High School as a history instructor and assistant coach.
The couple will exchange vows in a private ceremony at Springdale Baptist Church in West on February 19, 2011.
The Reverend James Culpepper and Father Lincoln Dall will officiate the 2 p.m. ceremony.
