GREENWOOD – Jessica Ward scored 22 points as Yazoo County snapped a two game skid Thursday night with a 57-44 win over Amanda Elzy to close out the regular season.
The Lady Panthers (14-12) bounced back from an overtime loss to Greenwood two nights before and finished with a solid 7-3 record in 4A Region play.
Yazoo County had a five point lead after the opening quarter before the winless Lady Panthers of Amanda Elzy bounced back in the second quarter scoring a game high 15 points. Yazoo County were still ahead at the break.
