Election officials say current work space won’t do

Yazoo County’s election commissioners say they must have better working space in order to prepare for the upcoming elections.
Election Commissioner Bill Quimby told the Board of Supervisors Friday that the current conditions are unacceptable. The board previously planned to provide the space occupied by the district attorney’s office after being told newly-elected DA Akillie Malone-Oliver was vacating the office, but Oliver intends to continue operating out of that space. -------for the rest of the story see The Yazoo Herald printed edition or subscribe to the Digital Edition.----------
