Local JA chapter helps needy families over Christmas season
Special to The Herald
The Junior Auxiliary of Yazoo City has been very busy this Christmas season with a variety of service projects, including collecting donations for needy children across Yazoo County.
The season kicked off with the Yazoo Christmas parade. The local JA chapter created a seasonal float, honoring both the community and corporate sponsors. A few children active in the chapter’s child welfare service projects were also invited to ride the float with members. The children were very excited to throw candy to spectators and be a part of the festivities. -------for the rest of the story see The Yazoo Herald printed edition or subscribe to the Digital Edition.----------
