Special birthdays celebrated

Many things can happen over the course of a century. Just ask Ida Mae Cowans and Lucinda Jones.
Friends and family of the two ladies gathered to celebrate Mrs. Lucinda Jones’ 94th birthday and Mrs. Ida Mae Cowans’ 100th birthday.
Cowans has reached an age that many will never see, but she remains as sharp as ever.
