DOROTHY EVERETT
Dorothy Mae Everett, 67, died Friday, Dec. 10, 2010 at King’s Daughters Hospital in Yazoo City.
Funeral services were Dec. 14 at Stricklin-King Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Lynch officiating. Burial followed at Glenwood Cemetery in Yazoo City under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
Mrs. Everett was born on July 11, 1943 in Humphreys County to James. D. Foster of Aileen Collier. She was an LPN at Oasis Health and Rehabilitation and was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Adams Everett of Yazoo City.
Survivors include her three sons, James Lamar Everett, Gary Daniel Everett and Robert Adams Everett, all of Yazoo City; brother, Sonny Foster of Midnight; two sisters, Janie Little of Florence and Evelyn Vaughan of Jackson, Tenn.; and two grandchildren, James Whitaker Everett and Kaylee Renee Everett.

CYNTHIA MITCHELL
Cynthia Mitchell, 53, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010.
Funeral services were Dec. 11 at New Dimensions Ministry in Jackson with Rev. M.C. Miller officiating. Burial followed at Autumn Wood Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Memorial Funeral Home.
Ms. Mitchell was born June 12, 1957 in Yazoo City to Vernado and Jerry Miller. She moved to Warren, Ohio in 1960. She moved back to Jackson in 1975, where she worked various jobs and was a member of Progressive Societies.
She was preceded in death by her mother; and a sister, Johnny Mae Jordan.
Survivors include her father, Jerry Miller of Warren, Ohio; two sons, Jonathan Miller (Vangie) of Jackson and Jarmond Miller (Tina) of Jackson; two sisters, Gwendolyn Miller of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Patricia Miller of Warren, Ohio; four brothers, Jerome Miller (Princess) of Warren, Ohio; Chris Miler (Rukaiyah) of Niles, Ohio, Felbert Mitchell of Berlin, N.J. and Aaron Miller (Angeline) of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Serving as pallbearers were Andre Proctor, Derrick Green, Derrick Thompson, Delre Smith, Nick Bostic, Richard Bass, Steve Barnes, Emanuel Ealy and Kelvin Bronson.

EXSELL SNOW

Exsell Snow, 62, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010 at the V.A. Medical Center in Jackson.
Funeral services are Saturday at the Greater Zion Travelers Church in Utica with Rev. Phillip Burks officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of West Haven Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Snow was born April 11, 1948 in Hinds County to Eugene and Sarah Snow. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a foreman for Cooper Lighting and a member of Greater Zion Travelers Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Regina Snow, who passed away Dec. 26, 2009.
Survivors include two daughters, Carlene Wilson (Arthur) and Rhonda Snow; three sons, Eric Snow (Aldena), Rodney Snow (Tasha) and Reggie Snow (Latoya); five sisters, Vera, Eugenia, Margaret, Willie Dell and Katie; and three brothers, Eugene, Frank and Elijah; and 12 grandchildren.
