FLOWOOD – Junior Will Bearden scored a team high 19 points to lead the Manchester Academy boys basketball team to a season opening victory over University Christian Tuesday, 56-39.
It was the night cap between the two schools which saw the Lady Mavericks improve to 3-1 on the year after 40-25 win.
