Raiders drop two at home

With the teams first practice a day before the regular season opener, Benton Academy head basketball coach Richard Perry knows it will take some time, but the wins will eventually show up.

The 2010 season got off to a rocky start this week as the Raiders dropped their first two games; 65-24 to Tallulah Monday night and 50-40 to Bayou Academy on Tuesday.

“I was pleased with the team,” Perry said. “It’s going to take some time to get that football out of them. We’re going to be okay.”
