PARIS LITTLETON
Paris Andre Rumon Littleton, 22, died Monday, Oct. 25, 2010 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Funeral services are today at 1 p.m. Yazoo County High School. Shaffer & Collins Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Mr. Littleton was born Jan. 13, 1988 in Buffalo New York to Willie and Myra Littleton. He was a student at Jackson State University and a graduate of Yazoo County High School.
Survivors include his parents Willie and Myra Littleton; a daughter, Aaliyah Hudson; brothers, Richard Littleton, Willie Littleton Jr., Martinez Moore, James Littleton, Zonda Macklin, Tavarus Little and Isaiah Littleton; sisters, Schikora Streeter, Rechelle Rhymes, Shatrice Ross, Temeka Means, Madejesty Littleton and Avion Littleton.
BERNICE SNYDER
Bernice Snyder, 68, of Belzoni died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010 at home.
Funeral services were Thursday at First Presbyterian Church in Belzoni with Rev. Richard Wiman officiating. Burial followed at Caile Cemetery in Sunflower County under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
Mrs. Snyder was born Sept. 21, 1942 in Isola to William and Flora May Donald Snyder. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Carol Snyder and Rita Jo Snyder.
Survivors include her son, George Earl Snyder of Belzoni; sisters, Nancy Donald of Greenville, Billy Jean Nelson of Belzoni, Annice Chouccoli of Leland, Paulette Pickle of Belzoni, Brenda Francis Keene of Yazoo City, Shelia Taylor of Belzoni and Frances Rowland of Belzoni; brothers, Danny Snyder of Belzoni, Gary Snyder of Florida and Larry Snyder of Branson, Mo.; two grandchildren, Dedra Nicole Snyder of Elkhart, Ind. and William Earl Snyder of Belzoni; and one great-grandchild, Abigail Jordan Ramsey of Elkhart, Ind.
Serving as pallbearers were, Jonathan Snyder, Bobby Marquis, Kenneth Sharpe, Jason Pickles, Frankie Snyder, John Flemmons and James Snyder.
