Lady Mavs ready to compete in 2010

With the 2010 girls basketball season just days away, Manchester Academy first year head coach Russell Cruise said the girls are making progress even though they have had very little time to practice with so much going on.
A recent scrimmage showcased some of the things they worked on over the summer during their early morning practices. Cruise says it’s starting to pay off.
“The question is whether or not they will continue to do it when we play a little better competition,” he said. “They are doing what they’re supposed to do, but defensively we have a long ways to go.”
