Ordinance exceptions continue to stir debate

Granting special exceptions and variances sparked a heated debate among city leaders for the second board meeting in a row.
During the last open meeting of the Board and Mayor of Aldermen, there were disagreements among board members about special exceptions and variances. But three exceptions were granted.
It was the same argument at the latest board meeting Monday afternoon. But of three special exception requests, only one was approved this week.
