The Yazoo City Police Department is about to be the newest addition to the North Central Narcotics Task Force.
The state organization combines forces among its local law enforcement agencies to tackle drugs and deter them from having a large impact on communities.
Chief Eric Snow said he anticipates this agreement will prove to be a benefit with his department, especially among young drug users.
