Four students from Yazoo County were recognized for outstanding academic achievement at Rust College for the fall semester.
Named to the Honor Roll were: Julinda D. Scott and Cleotha Taylor of Yazoo City. Receiving Honorable Mentions were: Shermeka Berry and Milya Moore, both of Yazoo City.
An institution of the United Methodist Church, Rust College was established in 1866, and is the state’s oldest historically black institution.
