Porter completes training

PFC Dillon W. Porter of Company F, 3rd Battalion, 60th Infantry Regiment, completed basic combat training on Aug. 26 at the United States Army Training Center Fort Jackson, S.C.. 165th Infantry Brigade.
He is presently a senior at Yazoo County High School. After graduating in the spring of 2011, PFC Porter will report to Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. to further his career in the military.
He is the son of Dalton and Tammy Porter of Bentonia. His grandparents are Vaun Ciele Porter and the late Buddy Porter, Buddy Thrasher and the late Barbara Howell, all of Bentonia.
