Dillard challenges Yazooans to help make a difference

By JAMIE PATTERSON
Herald Reporter

The annual Make a Difference Day project may have changed locations this year, but the message of love and generosity is still the same.
The 14th annual free flea market has been moved from the home of Mrs. Leola Dillard to the property of George and Mattie K. Washington at 719 East Fifth Street in Yazoo City.
The event will be held on Oct. 23, beginning at 8 a.m.
Mrs. Dillard, a pillar of the Yazoo community, anticipates another successful year with the project. She hopes all volunteers, visitors and other citizens will spend the day making a difference by sharing the spirit of giving and spreading good cheer.
