CLINTON – Benton Academy (4-4) ran left, right, sideways and long ways over Clinton Christian Friday night in a crucial 53-14 district win on the road.

Joe White recorded a season-high five touchdowns as the Raiders moved to 2-0 in District 4A heading into a bye week. Head coach Wayman Grantham was happy with the result, but stressed their biggest challenges await them.

“A win’s a win, we’ll take it,” he said. “Of course in two weeks we have a big game against Humphreys Academy, the biggest game of the year for us.”
