Local artist George Dixon recently served as a teacher’s assistant at Tougaloo College for reknown artist Rik Freeman. George assisted with the supervision of several teenage students during the painting of a mural at the college’s girls dormitory. The mural measures 23 feet high and 40 feet long. The group anticipates to complete the mural by November.
