Miss Sara Delancey and Dr. Todd NicholsMr. and Mrs. John Delancey of Bentonia announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara LeeAnn, to Dr. Todd Applewhite Nichols, son of Dr. and Mrs. Aubrey Norwood Nichols of McComb.
The bride elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.T. McKinnon of Morton and Mrs. Jane Fortenberry and the late Mr. James Delancey of Brandon.
Sara is a graduate of Yazoo County High School and the University of Mississippi receiving a degree in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. She is currently employed at St. Dominic’s Hospital.
The groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Gwinn H. Gordon of Flowood and the late Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Nichols of Benton.
Todd was valedictorian at McComb High School and graduated Magna Cum Laude at Milsaps with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He was a Phi Beta Kappa honor graduate and a member of Kappa Alpha fraternity. He continued his education at the University of Mississippi Medical School and later completed a  residency in Radiology. After completing a fellowship in Neuro Radiology at Emory Medical School, he is now employed at the University as a Neuro Radiologist in Jackson.
The couple will exchange vows at 7:30 in the evening at Saint Peters Cathedral in Jackson with a reception at the Old Capital Inn on October 23, 2010.
