Renovated historic building attracts business downtown

Managing Editor When Ron Wilkinson saw the painting, he knew he had to have it for his new office. Wilkinson is always proud of his 12-year-old granddaughter Aubrie Ann’s artwork, but her recent painting of a downtown scene was something really special. The scene reminded him of downtown Yazoo City, especially the brightly colored buildings. It was just right for Wilkinson’s new office on Main Street.Wilkinson, owner of Mashburn-Wilkinson Realty, recently opened his new office at 203 North Main Street after purchasing the agency from longtime owner Mary Lou Mashburn.
