Resident seeks relief from pit bulls

By JAMIE PATTERSON
Herald Reporter

One Yazoo City man is tired of pit bulls running loose in his neighborhood.
Mike Frazier, who lives on Barnwell Street, asked city leaders during the Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting Monday to enforce their animal laws within the city.
Frazier said his neighbors’ pit bulls are becoming a problem in his neighborhood. He said the animals are left unattended and run loose during all hours.
“There are a lot of elderly people in the neighborhood,” Frazier said. “One man has to carry a gun with him just to get his newspaper. The dogs are running loose.”
