Indians blanked by Canton

CANTON – After Friday night’s 30-0 district loss to Canton, Yazoo City is on the outside looking in. The Indians are one of three teams, along with Provine and Lanier who are still winless in district play.

Willis Haralson ran for 130 yards as the Indians were shut out for the first time this season.

Tre Richardson and Dazmon Wright combined for 15 yards on 15 carries.

The offense has struggled to find it’s rhythm since their win over rivals Yazoo County, scoring just six points in the last two games.

“We had five turnovers last week,” head coach Tony Woolfolk said. “The offensive line is very week and we have to get that fixed.”
