Miss Jamie Plunkett and Tye LangdonMrs. Janice Plunkett Langdon of Clinton and Mr. Bobby Lee Stokes Jr. of Lexington are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Wittmann Plunkett, to Tye Crocker Langdon, son of Mr. Charles Kent Langdon of Clinton and Mrs. Helen Crocker Edwards of Yazoo City.
The bride elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel P. Plunkett of Clinton and Mrs. Vennie Stokes of Durant and the late Mr. Bobby L. Stokes.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Greta Langdon of Missouri and the late Mr. George Langdon and Mr. Alford Crocker of Yazoo City and the late Mrs. Joyce Crocker.
The couple will be exchanging vows at 3 p.m. on October 23, 2010 at Pocahontas Baptist Church in Jackson. A reception will be following the ceremony.
