MA starts district play

A come from behind victory highlighted the start of conference play for Manchester Academy on the softball diamond.

The Lady Mavericks are now 1-1 in their district after a 4-2 win against Oak Hill Monday and an 8-1 loss to Carroll Academy on Tuesday.

“The girls are playing with confidence right now,” head coach Russell Cruise said. “They’re starting to realize what they can do on the field and at the plate.”
