Franklin Hudson and Miss Meaghan GeltstonKen and Tonya Gelston of Benton, and Angie Geltston of Benton, announce the engagement of their daughter, Meaghan Kenley Gelston to Franklin Adcock Hudson, the son of Jimmy and Angela Hudson of Holly Bluff.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Gelston of Vicksburg, Mr. and Mrs. David Lowther of Clinton and the late George Jackson of Clinton.
She is a 2008 graduate of Benton Academy. For the past two years she attended Delta State University, where she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She is currently enrolled in the Practical Nursing Program at Holmes Community College in Goodman.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Adcock of Holly Bluff, Mrs. Patty Sue Huff of Holly Bluff and the late James Hudson of Cleveland.
He is a 2006 graduate of Yazoo County High School and a 2008 graduate of Mississippi Delta Community College, where he earned an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. From there he went on to get his Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from Delta State University in 2010. While at Delta State he was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He is currently employed at the Federal Correctional Complex in Yazoo City.
Wedding vows will be exchanged at 6 p.m. on Oct. 2, 2010 at the home of the groom’s parents in Holly Bluff.
No local invitations are being sent, but all family and friends are invited to attend.
