ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be received by Central Yazoo Water Association, Yazoo City, Mississippi, until 10:00 A..M. local time, May 21 , 2013, at the office of Central Yazoo Water Association, 37 Witherspoon Road (or may be mailed to Post Office Box 116, Yazoo City, MS 39194, Attn: Ms Polly Carter), at which time and place all proposals will be opened and read aloud.
Request for bids for Contract I of Project No. DWI-0820004-01 as follows:
Install and put into service a 500 gal/per minute water well and apertures on Paradise Road, Yazoo County, Mississippi.
The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bonds and other contract documents may be examined at the following:

Minority and women’s business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material and/or supply needs.
Any contract or contracts awarded under this invitation for bids are expected to be funded in whole or in part by anticipated funds from the Drinking Water Systems Improvements Revolving Loan Fund (DWSIRLF) loan program from the State of Mississippi. Neither the State of Mississippi, the Local Governments and Rural Water Systems Improvements Board, nor any of their employees is or will be a party to this invitation for bids or any resulting or related contracts. This procurement will be subject to all applicable sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annoted, as they apply to local governments, in accordance with Appendix D of the DWSIRLF Program Regulations.
Copies may be obtained at the office of Williams, Clark & Morrison, Inc., located at 213 South Main Street, Yazoo City, Mississippi, upon payment of $100.00 for each set, which will not be refunded.
Central Yazoo Water Association reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities therein and to determine which is the best bid. Certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of total bid, made payable to Central Yazoo Water Association must accompany each proposal.
A performance bond and a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract will be required.
