BILLY HAVENS
Billy T. Havens, 84, died Monday, Aug. 2, 2010 at King’s Daughters Hospital.
Funeral services were Thursday at the Stricklin-King Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darrell Oster officiating. Burial followed at Glenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Havens was born in Charleston to Thomas Earl and Gladys Ward Havens. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a service manager for Massey Ferguson and a member of Center Ridge Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hallie Havens; second wife, Betty P. Havens; and a son, Tommy Havens.
Survivors include two daughters, Diane Niven of Yazoo City and Catherine Manus of Russellville, Ark.; two sons, William Havens of Vivian, La. and Danny Havens of Yazoo City; stepsons, Pat Peeples of Yazoo City, Alvin Carter of Memphis, Tenn. and Donnie Abbott of Memphis, Tenn.; stepdaughter, Jan Logan of Memphis; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 11 step-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were Pat Peeples, Cory Shelton, Dennis Rogers, Bubba Nivens, John Holt, John Brooks Tatum, T.D. Havens, Smokey McGlawn and Woody Humphries.

ANNIE WILLIAMS
Annie Lee Williams of Sardis died Saturday, July 31, 2010.
Funeral services are today at Antioch Baptist Church in Batesville.
Mrs. Williams was a 1981 graduate of Bentonia High School.
Survivors include her husband, Calvin Lee Armstead; daughters, Cassandra Armstead and Eboney Armstead; mother, Willie Lee Williams; and a brother, Leroy Williams Jr.
