The Russell Cruise era is officially underway at Manchester Academy and with just under a week into the 2010 campaign, the Lady Mavericks are 1-1 and right where they need to be offensively.
“We’re swinging the bat really well,” Cruise said Thursday morning. “Two games in and  we’re trying to find our lineups right now, but I think we’re going to be fine.  I’m interested to see how the younger girls are going to play in the mix.”
