MA raises $142,000 with Grow Green & Gold event

By JAMIE PATTERSON
Managing Editor

Manchester Academy raised $142,000 with its Grow Green and Gold fundraiser.
School officials and supporters were very pleased with the community’s contributions. The effort was so well-attended that it collected $42,000 above its original goal.
“It turned out to be very successful,” said MA Headmaster Bryan Dendy. “We had a great turnout from the community with so much support.”
The event featured a live and silent auction. The auction was geared toward agriculture with contributions from chemical companies and other agriculture-related organizations.
