Notice to Bidders:
Notice is hereby given that the  Port Commission Board  of Yazoo County, Mississippi will receive sealed bids at the Yazoo County Chancery Clerk’s Office until 10:00 A.M. Monday, February, 11, 2013 for the following:
Agricultural lease from Yazoo County, Mississippi, of the following described lands in Yazoo County, Mississippi, being located near the Yazoo County Airport property:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the tract of land owned by the Yazoo County Airport according to deed book 171A at page 628; run thence North 84 degrees 07 minutes 51 seconds East for a distance of 1010.00 feet along the North line of said tract to the Northeast  corner of said tract; thence run South 05 degrees 52 minutes 09 Seconds East for a distance of 2,297.80 feet along the East line of said tract; thence run South 83 degrees 57 minutes 16 seconds West for a distance of 689.29 feet along a cyclone fence; thence run North 49 degrees 35 minutes 58 seconds West  for a distance of 159.80 feet along a tree line; thence run South 84 degrees 07 minutes 51 seconds West for a distance of 210.25 feet along a tree line to the West line of said tract; thence run North 05 degrees 52 minutes 09 seconds West for a distance of 2,184.39 feet, back to the Point of Beginning. Containing 52.61 acres located in the Southwest Quarter of Section 12, and the Northwest Quarter of Section 13, Township 12 North, Range 3 West, Yazoo County, MS.
The beginning of the term of said lease shall be February 15, 2013 and shall end December 31, 2016.
Other terms and provisions of the lease to be executed with the successful  bidder are on  file with the clerk of this Board.
Said bids may be mailed to or left with the Yazoo County Chancery Clerk at the Chancery Clerk’s building located at 211 East Broadway, Yazoo City, Mississippi, prior to the time set for the receiving of said bids. The Port Commission Board will open and consider all said bids at its regular meeting to be held on February 13, 2013 at the Chamber Board room located at 212 E. Broadway, Yazoo City, Mississippi.
The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
