Yazoo County hosted the Greenwood Bulldogs Tuesday night in prep basketball.
However, the Panthers fell in overtime to the Dogs 44-41. Panther head coach Michael Tardy was impressed with the way his guys never gave.
“We gave a 100 percent effort on the court tonight,” Tardy said. “As long as we continue to play tough we will be fine for district tournament play.”
Jadarius Haymer led the Panthers with 14 points. Justin Henderson added 10 points on the night. While Antwan Carr and Kenneth Ingram chipped in six.
