Mrs. Dillard reads to children
Mrs. Leola Dillard recently invited a group of children from the Mississippi Action for Progress Headstart Center into her home for a morning filled with black history. Mrs. Dillard, local volunteer and beloved community figure, read a book on Dr. Martin Luther King to the children. She also showed the children a video on an African children’s choir. The children and their teachers were also given a tour of Mrs. Dillard’s honors.
