Alderman questions local school security

Although city school officials said they had a security plan  in place for intruders on school property, one alderman said he was able to breach it.
In the aftermath of the Sandy Hook tragedy, many voiced concern over the safety of Yazoo City schools.
Alderman Aubry Brent Jr. invited Dr. Arthur Cartlidge, superintendent of the Yazoo City Municipal School District, to share the district’s security plan with city leaders at this week’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting.
