EDWARD BIRCHETT

Edward Skinker Birchett, 84, died July 7, 2010.
Funeral services were July 10 at the Brentwood Funeral Home in Tennessee. Burial followed in Philadelphia, Pa.
Mr. Birchett was born Sept. 15, 1925 in Yazoo City. He was a 1945 graduate of Yazoo City High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was the founder and owner of Data Forms Co. in Franklin, Tenn. and attended Franklin Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Nancy Price Birchett; children, Gary Birchett of Arlington, Tenn., Linda Lerchenfeld (John) of Franklin, Tenn., Ken Birchett of Asheville, N.C., and Nancy Birchett of Destin, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Historic Franklin Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 323, Franklin, Tenn.

MARTHA KING

Martha Ann King, 80, died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.
Funeral services were Tuesday with Rev. Edward Balser officiating. Burial followed at Bethlehem Cemetery under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
Mrs. King was born June 7, 1930 in Yazoo County to William Joseph Hood and Anna Sudbeck Hood. She was a case manager for the Mississippi Department of Human Services and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Picket King; a son, Bill King; and a nephew, David Spiars.
Survivors include a grandson, Anthony King of Yazoo City; two sisters, Patsy Spiars of Yazoo City and Betty Rickels of Baton Rouge, La.; and two brothers, Bill Hood of West Point and David Hood of Palm Springs, Calif.
Serving as pallbearers were Billy Hood, Joe Rickels Jr., Pete Rickels, Chris Hood, Mickey Rickels and Roger Kinard.

CLAYTON SAXTON

Clayton Ellis Saxton, 65, died July 16, 2010.
Funeral services were July 20 at Glenwood Cemetery. Burial followed under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
Mr. Saxton was born June 20, 1945 in Yazoo County to Walter C. and Hattie Presley Saxton. He was a sales clerk for Saxton Hardware Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Walter Presley Saxton.
Survivors include a daughter, Susie Bevalaque; and two sisters, Bethel Lou Moore of Benton and Jane Saxton Talbert of Jackson.
WILLIAM STUCKEY
William “Buck” Stuckey, 67, died July 19, 2010.
Funeral services were Saturday at the L.T. Miller Community Center with Rev. Anthony Brown officiating. Burial followed at Schaffer Cemetery under the direction of Scott Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Stuckey was born July 5, 1943 to the late Henrietta Grayson Stuckey and Willie Stuckey Sr. He attended Peter Simmons School.
He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Edward Stuckey; and a brother, Johnny Potts.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years Mary Etta Burns Stuckey; six sons, William (Muriam), Thomas (Michelle), John (Ashla), Deverris (Crystal), Johnny Smith (Etta), and Thomas Smith; five daughters, Diane (Patrick), Bridgette (Ruben), Carolyn (Joe), Letisha (Bryan) and Tiffany (Robert); five brothers, Joe (Jean), John (Charlene), Charles (Judy), Willie Jr. (Dorothy), and Milton (Mary); four sisters, Betty (Ernest), Gladys, Nannie (Jeff) and Doris (Perry); 43 grandchildren; 10 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Serving as pallbearers were Christopher Burns, Cleveland Sanders, Roger Haralson, Prentiss Young, Ruben Hartley, Patrick Stevenson and Moses Clark.
