Miss Hattaway to wed Windham
Miss Mandy Nicole HattawayMs. Sheila Dianne French of Ridgeland and Mr. Wilson Hearn Harvey of Yazoo City announce the engagement of their daughter, Mandy Nicole Hattaway, to Thomas Grey Windham, son of Mrs. Glen Dean Windham and the late Mr. Windham of Rolling Fork.
The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Rouie Spencer Hattaway Jr. of Lake Providence, La., the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cecil French of Lake Providence, La., Mrs. Rouie Spencer Hattaway Sr. and the late Mr. Hattaway of Lake Providence, La., and Mrs. Merrill Clyde Winstead and the late Mr. Winstead of Lexington.
The prospective bride-groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Pearson Windham of Mayersville and Mrs. William Byron Mayo of Rolling Fork and the late Mr. Mayo.
Miss Hattaway is a 1997 graduate of Manchester Academy in Yazoo City and a 2001 graduate of The University of Mississippi, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Family Consumer Sciences. She was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority.
Miss Hattaway received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Mississippi in 2005 and finished with her Master of Science in Nursing at The Mississippi University for Women in 2011. She is now a Family Nurse Practitioner at Jackson Rural Health Clinic in Rolling Fork.
Mr. Windham is a 1998 graduate of Sharkey Issaquena Academy in Rolling Fork. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from Mississippi State University in 2002. He was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. He is now the owner and operator of Willette Plantation Inc., a farming operation in Issaquena County.
The couple will exchange wedding vows February 16 at 6 p.m. at Galloway Memorial United Methodist Church in Jackson with a reception to follow at Duling Hall in Fondren.
