County considers reducing speed limit and eliminating all passing zones on Old Benton Road

Many things have changed about Old Benton Road since it was part of Highway 16.
These days it’s mostly a residential road with driveways from end to end.
It’s also more dangerous with faded and sometimes nonexistent striping and vegetation obscuring the shoulder of the road in places.
But one thing that often hasn’t changed is the speed of traffic traveling down the road.
