If your son steals a flat screen television, setting it up in the living room may be a bad idea.
Trina Ellis was charged with possession of stolen property after officers discovered a stolen television in her apartment.
Capt. Larry Davis said the flat screen television was stolen from a local business over the Memorial Day weekend.
“Her juvenile son actually broke into the business and stole the television,” Davis said. “She had it hooked up in her living room in her apartment with cable hooked up to it and everything.”
Davis said Ellis may have stayed out of trouble if her son had stashed the television in her home without her knowledge. But the fact that she had it hooked up in her living room wasn’t a good sign.
